The line between the Core Worlds and the Outer Rim, the Mid Rim is where all the excitement starts. The Mid Rim is constantly fought over since evil usually come from the Outer Rim while the Core Worlds house the Republic and jedi. It is here in the Mid Rim where the battle lines are drawn for the war and where the first conflict started.
A great distance from the Core Worlds, the Outer Rim planets are primitive and work independently, not relying on Republic support. Planets in the Outer Rim are infamous for evil and corruption. The Outer Rim is where the Sith dug in their roots and hold its armies
